The Lowell Area Historical Museum is a non profit organization. We consider any donations of artifacts related to the Lowell area history.
Our funding comes from a wide variety of sources including donations, earned revenue, grants and millage revenue. Below is a list of the many ways you can support the Museum. For more information on any listing, please contact Director Lisa Plank at [email protected] or 616-897-7688.

Artifacts

The Lowell Area Historical Museum collects and preserves a wide range of artifacts that tell the story of Lowell. If you have an item that you would like to have considered for donation, please contact Luanne Kaeb at 616-897-7688 or [email protected].

Items must be relevant to Lowell and in good condition. Staff and collections committee members evaluate each potential donation to ensure it fits our mission and that we can properly care for the piece.

Memorials

​Honor someone who is special to your life through a gift to the Lowell Area Historical Museum. The Museum is proud to be an integral part of preserving our community's heritage.  Documenting our history and participating in bringing it to the youth of the Lowell area is important so that we can pass on to them the things that meant so much to us and to the generations before us.

Exhibit and Program Sponsors

Special exhibits sponsorships are available to a limited number of business or events. Exhibits run for two years and explore topics in Lowell history. Sponsors receive recognition within the exhibit as well as in all media materials sent out and communications to our members.

Program sponsors support special educational programs offered to local children and the public. Sponsorships assist in the development and implementations of programs. Sponsors receive recognition in all materials related to the advertising of their program as well as in all materials used in the program.

​Endowment Fund

​Donors to the Lowell Area Historical Museum’s endowment fund have the satisfaction of knowing that their donation is a gift that continues to provided support the to museum over time.

​The Museum is continually seeking ways to increase our sustainability in the face of growing needs and expenses. Growing our endowment fund is an important piece of our financial well being.

​Calenders feature historic pictures of our community and are a fun way to get the word out about your business or event.

General Fund

The annual fund drive provides a tax deductible way to give to the museum. Donations of any amount are welcome.
